ABOUT COLIN
Hello!

Here is a little bit of information about myself. I have over 20 years of educational technology, multimedia development and pedagogical experience. I taught Media Arts in Alberta for 15 years and as a result of my work I was honoured to be inducted as an Adobe Education Leader due to my work teaching photography, graphic design and video production.

Over the last ten years, I have worked with Alberta Health Services, Olds College, Limestone Learning and Jigsaw learning as an instructional designer and eLearning author. As a contractor I have provided professional development to adult learners via virtual delivery and created many online instructional resources for adult education.

I have a Bachelor of Education, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design, and a Graduate Diploma in Education Technology, and I am currently working towards completing my Master’s degree in Open, Digital, and Distance Education. I am Adobe ACA certified in all Creative Cloud applications and hope to complete my Adobe Captivate certification soon. I am also a Google-certified educator and all-around education technology aficionado.

My family and I live in the small town of Athabasca, located just north of Edmonton, Alberta, where they enjoy the outdoors, especially fishing, skiing, mountain biking and camping.
