E-Learning authoring, audio-visual production, animation, graphic design, and use of other multimedia software. Instructional design, development of online courses, and e-learning using Adobe Captivate, Flipping courses from Face to Face to virtual in Adobe Connect for internal staff learning resources. Collaborated with SMEs, project sponsors, project leads, and clients on a variety of courses.

 

Instructional Designer – 2016 – 2018

Built new continuing education courses by providing structure, content, and assessments in Moodle for the instruction of each course. Worked with/supported SME's to create content for each course. Built new courses for the Craft Distilling certificate program and Pre-trades entrance exam preparation courses. Utilized Adobe Spark, Captivate, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Character Animator, Premiere Pro, Acrobat DC, and InDesign to create original multimedia content. Providing structure, content, and assessments in Moodle shells for the instruction of these courses. Worked with SME's to create content for each course and supported them with technical troubleshooting.

Taught senior high school drama (10, 20, 30). Focused on acting, directing, theatre tech, stage management, and theatre sports. Provided students with after school extracurricular drama programs that included full-length productions and one-act festival productions. Designed, implemented, and assessed courses in photography, robotics, electronics video production, and graphic arts/design. Developed interactive course materials, and web-based materials for student learning. Provided in-house technical administration and installation of lab software and hardware. Provided technical troubleshooting within the lab. Repaired computers and peripherals as necessary.

Coordinated Aspen View Virtual School student programming for Edwin Parr Composite

School. Provided students with timetables, schedule adjustments, and programming options. Managed student programming for the flexibility enhancement project.

Administered provincial exams, teacher supervision schedules, and student exam timetables. Provided assessments of interprovincial and international student programs. Directed instructors with regard to student programming, assessment, and discipline. Provided staff with guidance and clarification for district technology initiatives and student programming changes. Assisted virtual school staff with the use of new technologies. Provided staff with clear direction in regard to student programming at EPC.

Offered career testing, various aptitude tests, and personality inventories. Redesigned the

school registration guide and provided parents and students with programming sessions outside of school.
